Our girls are avid My Little Pony fans. Our oldest (5) is a beginning reader, so having a book with a fun and familiar story line & characters is great motivation. There is a bubble pack on the front with a bracelet in it. I told her when she reads the entire book by herself she gets the bracelet as a reward. Her little sister (4) loves looking at the pics and listening to big sis read the story. She assists with figuring out words when they get stuck. I think this is one that will stay interesting for a long time. The book is also sturdy, so it won't easily tear and can withstand being taken everywhere they want to bring it.

I bought this for my 3 year old. She absolutely loves My Little Pony and has had me read the book to her a number of times. It is a board book so it won't get trashed and she can read/look at it on her own with no worries of rips.
My 4 year old grand-daughter loves this book!
Great book. I read it and enjoyed it a lot. Great for any My Little Pony fan and would highly recommend it.

Since our 5-year-old has become obsessed with the TV show, we were looking for books that tied into the characters and series. This one follows about 50% of the plot of the episodes dealing with the wedding, while totally omitting the dark storyline concerning the doppelganger shape-shifter using the wedding to take over the entire kingdom. The story is short, sweet, and free of scary or dramatic elements, which make it perfect for younger kids (or for bedtime when you are avoiding nightmares). I do wish the story was longer, this is more like a glorified board book.
The book is ok. Some of the pictures are low quality, you can see the pixels. The story is alright, although a little long for something in a board book which is typically for small children. My one year old still seems to like it though and the bracelet is made of nice sturdy cord.
This MLP book is very cute! Although the reason I did not give the product a higher rating is because I feel it is advanced for the ages of 3-7. The story I feel is smooth to follow although some are the words are big. Everyone will love the bright illustrations! I gave this gift to my 5 year old cousin & she loved it! Especially the little bracelet that comes with the book.
