I am a Fan of Alexis Abbott I love all of her Hitman, but I also love all the heroines and Cherry is such a fascinating character. Cherry is a New York journalist writing fashion articles living in her own little bubble. Its not what she wants to write about she really wants to write hard hitting stories , stories that make a difference. Cherry's father passes away under mysterious circumstances, and Cherry must return to New Jersey her hometown to find out what really happens . She finds a abandoned warehouse where her father died and finds some thugs beating the heck outta someone. Then she flees when they see her and she runs for help right into a crooked cop who called, Leon the thug that was chasing Cherry. Cherry really finds herself in a mixed and dangerous situations, but instead of running she bucks up and learns who she really is and what she's made of.
Leon is a former Hitman who now is the president of his own MC he is trying to keep his town for going into ruin, and letting small business go under, he believes in fair wages , and is tired of the FBI poking their heads in to everything. As soon as Leon sees Cherry he remembers saving her from drowning when they where kids and knows that fates has brought her back for him.
I loved this one it was so different then the typical hitmen books it was definitely more MC and helping the small man to stay afloat. Leon the way he cares and acts around his crew and Cherry made me swoon so much. I want more , I really think this could be a great spinoff

I again enjoyed another book in series. I thought Cherry was going to be a stick in the mud with her "I'm scared of everything" attitude and she really surprised me. All of us "weaker" women get strong with a strong man behind us. Leon needed her in his life to keep him grounded, even tho she messed up his head for a good minute. Can't wait to read about Mikhail now.
I received an ARC for an honest review. I just love books by Alexis Abbott. You get lost in them and poof! They are over!! The characters become family and you are invested in their future. Outlaw. I guess Leon is an outlaw. Depends on perspective. Like Robin Hood. Leon is the leader of a club that rides motorcycles and wears cuts, but they were an official Dockworkers Union until the bosses didn't like their power. Rumors about illegal drugs and smuggling started an d the FBI began looking for Leon, so in that way he's an outlaw, with trumped up charges. Cherry came back to town because she didn't feel her father's death was accidental. Although he wasn't part of the Union, he was affected when the Union was taken down and the bosses increased hours with no pay increases or overtime. Cherry and Leon team up, in more ways than one, to solve the mystery of her father's death.
I really loved Leon and Cherry. I loved the fact that they were not picture perfect. That they were real people who made mistakes and even did things they knew were wrong. They were well developed multi-dimensional characters and their emotions were raw and amazing even though the Love Interest was NOT the Main Focus it was still climatic. Though I do wish we would have had a little more insight into Leon and Cherry’s past, but the writing and story are so engaging that I would bet most of those who read the Saved by the Outlaw, will be wanting another one of Alexis Abbott Hitman right away. She Sure Knows How to Weave a Tale With Hot Alpha Males and Strong Woman Fighting the Good Fight. Alexis Abbott, you have done it again! What a fantastic, page turning story you have written. While the story is a fast paced one, it is not lacking in details, emotions and action!!

SAVED BY THE OUTLAW - Good story just not long enough and short on details, but I still enjoyed. Leon was an alpha male and he was President of a variety of a motorcycle club though not typical at all. Cherry was bold, curious and fell madly in love with Leon, as did he for her. They fought the bad guys and served their type of justice.
RUTHLESS - Russian mafia story with a romantic twist. While the story moved quickly and was a good read, I didn't fully understand all about Rebecca or why Slava was after Sarah. The sex was plentiful, fights exciting, again just needed more detailed description.
OWNED BY THE HITMAN - My favorite story!! I want an alpha man just like Ivan, I loved him. This story was complete, romantic, suspenseful and such a good ending. Even though a hitman would never unfortunately be like Ivan, the fantasy was wonderful.
Wow I loved this book. I really enjoyed reading Saved by the Outlaw I was so hooked on this one since the beginning of the book. I really liked the concept of this book it had it all mafia and an mc twist to it. I loved the story and the characters of Cherry and Leon. Leon is an MC president and Cherry is a journalist who is returning home for her father's funeral. Sparks fly when these two meet up and it is filled with mystery and suspense and romance which I love about these kind of books. Highly recommend this book it is so worth it to read and enjoy the characters are great!

I quite liked this story about Leon and Cherry but it wasn’t one of my favourites by Alexis. There were a few parts in the story I was questioning and was a little confused about, I found myself stopping and trying to figure out how some things connected and what was happening.
I enjoyed reading about these characters and the members of the Union Club. There were a few times where I wasn’t a fan of Cherry, I found her quite annoying and irrational in parts of the story but I did like how strong of a character she was. I loved Leon. Just loved how mysterious, strong and caring he was at times especially with Cherry. I liked how Cherry just didn’t give up on him.
I would love to have read about their past together more and how much time had passed since then and what happened, although still a good read
